If you are a serious cruiser, looking for an extremely comfortable, seaworthy cutter, then look no further. This boat, Asylum, is full of performance history, complete with a jam packed inventory and already based in South East Asia, and ready to go sailing again. She is well loved and maintained by her current liveaboard owners, they are consistently and capably keeping her in terrific condition. She has just been launched after an extensive routine hull check, and repairs as needed, routine rub back and antifoul, as well as anode replacements and propeller serviced. ( December 2021)
Truly Asylum is not just capable and comfortable, but she really does come with an excellent extensive inventory. Priced to sell, and considering her pedigree, she is bound to attract prompt interest. Viewings by apppointment.
Tayana Vancover 42s are renowned for excellent build quality, comfortable off shore cruising, capable load carriers, and sturdy practicality. Asylum is an aft cabin design, with a spacious re- designed v berth, as well as a queen sized aft quarter berth. Her living space is spacious, cosy and ergonomic, with an L shaped saloon seat, larger saloon table and a port side fore and after settee that could easily accommodate another crew member. The safety aspect and work-ability of the galley ensures that cooking is breeze, even on those more boisterous adventures. Complete with in board airconditioning, and a water maker, she is truly ready to take you in style on all your adventures.
The cockpit is protected, her strong hull, fin keel, and heavy displacement ensure she is a stout heavy weather sailing boat, that still sails extremely well. Easily handled at sea and protected by her dodger, she also comes with excellent shade covers to allow for extra protection at sea, and when on anchor or in a marina.
Poised in Penang, she is available for viewings. She presents so much better in person than any photo on this page, and I have a fresh set of walk through videos to share on Whats app, if you contact me on +60174814869.
So please, contact Rachel today to get more information, or for your viewing appointment.
