S. V. Savannah is our latest listing at SYS Langkawi Yacht Sales, in Rebak Marina, Langkawi, Malaysia.
She has recently returned from a sailing adventure in the West Coast of Sumatra.
She is a ready to move on, very spacious and strong, liveaboard, blue water sailboat.
She is fully equipped and ready to live and travel offshore and in remote areas. With Solar, watermaker, genset and lithium batteries. As well as a split cycle airconditioning unit.
Only regretfully for sale, this yacht has come to the market with many recent upgrades and renewals.
Savannah had a survey done end of May 2023 that is available upon request.
She is a very strong long- and fixed keel and stable fibreglass boat that had hull work and antifouling done in October 2023 in Rebak, Langkawi.
Outside, the raised design makes for an inviting cockpit with panoramic views. The decks are painted with non slip with some teak trim and stainless steel ports that add to the overall aesthetics. Down below she is so spacious and homely, with a split level living area, with a step down Galley and Vberth, and then also a step down into the voluminous aft cabin. It is a luxury liveaboard style that oozes comfort, strength, space, and stability. Savannah has excellent liveaboard features such as air conditioning, (new unit installed Dec 2021), a small semiautomatic washing machine, hot water heater, water maker, gas cooker, big front-loading fridge and freezer, and a Bose stereo system.
Machinery is good and comprehensive. The engine room is well organised. A brand new NORTHERN LIGHTS 220VAC generator was installed in 2020. All electrics are now 220VAC.
Gulfstar Sailmaster 47s were designed by Vince & Richard Lazarra to be comfortable and sea kindly. Both berths have en-suites, and showers, the aft shower compartment has been utilised recently as the laundry area. The galley has a gas cooker and oven to port ahead of the saloon. There are twin stainless steel sinks, hot/cold pressure water (heated from engine or shore power, electric functioning) and a very large front opening DC refrigerator with a separate freezer compartment! The saloon features a dining table, settees on both hull sides and storage above and below with an aft facing chart table.
Savannah is like walking into a move-able home. She really is well maintained and loved. She is an older boat, so, there will always be ongoing maintenance needed, but she was a full time liveaboard up until the end of June 2024. And consistently maintained as needed to ensure the owners were safe and comfortable.

Remarks
Alternator: The boat has a Balmar main engine alternator that was services in late 2023. While it was changing the batteries, the mounting of the alternator did not allow maximum utilisation. We disconnected the alternator and were working on a new mounting to install it on the main engine in April 2024, but unfortunately did not manage to finish this project. Currently the alternator needs to be mounted in order to use it.
S. V. Savannah has tons of other equipment and spears onboard, such as Karcher pressure washer, 2 spear anchors, spear propeller, etc. The davits have been set up to store surfboards (or other equipment/luggage) under the solar panels, if need to be.
