Jacobite Queen
Built in 1949 by Hawthorn, Leslie at Hebburn on Tyne as a Tyne ferry ,she remained in service on the river Tyne until 1987 when she was acquired by the present owner.
She was extensively refitted in 1987 – 1988 for service on the Caledonian canal and Loch Ness where she has successfully traded.
Under her current owners the vessel has benefitted from continuous upgrades to accommodation and machinery, repowered in 2006 with a Volvo D12 450 HM and a complete saloon refit in 2016.
With central heating and double-glazing Jacobite Queen provides year round passenger comfort, the saloon layout in combination with upper deck seating and a separate bar area makes the vessel suitable for regular passenger service and private charters.
Price upon application.
