Description

SM-1 REEM is a 21.00 m aluminium commercial vessel with passenger and deck-cargo capability. Built in 2002 by Seaspray Marine Services, the vessel has a breadth of 6.00 m, depth of 2.54 m and maximum draft of 1.60 m. She offers a service speed of 14 knots and economical speed of 12 knots, with a range of approximately 400 nautical miles.

The vessel is powered by 2 × Caterpillar 3412 C main engines, developing 764 bhp each, with 2 × Twin Disc MG 5145A gearboxes. Auxiliary power is provided by 1 × Perkins 4GM and 1 × Caterpillar C4.4. Generator output is 1 × 45 kVA and 1 × 60 kVA at 380 V / 50 Hz.

Capacity includes 18 MT deck cargo, 45 m² deck area and 31 passengers. Fuel capacity is 4,000 litres and fresh-water capacity is 1,000 litres.
